Victorian Splendor necklace

Hello !

First of all, let me wish you a very happy new year, filled with successes and inspiration !

For me, it already is a happy new year. I have nice projects in the pipeline: new necklaces, a soon to be published embroidery tutorial, maybe a move back from the Netherlands to France, and also an online shop…. But shhhhh ! That’s a surprise !

For the time being, I’m introducing a creation I completed shortly before Christmas, but couldn’t publish earlier due to the maintenance of my website. I called it “Victorian Splendor”, a tribute to its resolutely retro look and its rich tones.

It’s a choker made up from two embroidered pieces, the first one around an agate cab, and the other one around a resplendent Swarovski oval cab. Both parts feature golden freshwater pearls, and (for the above part), a tiny Czech glass flower, Swarovski bicones and crystal rondelles. They are embroidered with different shades of green, beige and gold.

The choker itself is realized with memory wire, so it doesn’t need a clasp and stays perfectly in place ! It is made from Miyuki 15/0 seed beads and cubes, and Swarovski bicones. Gold filled chain maintain and highlight the focal piece.

Well, once again, I hope you haev a wonderful year, and I’ll talk to you soon with more news and creations !
